Age Requirement for Youth Participants (from official gathering Website)
The Gathering is intended for high school youth ages 15-19. To register for the 2007 National LCMS Youth Gathering, youth participants must meet ONE of the following eligibility requirements.
1. Must be 15 years old by September 30, 2007
2. Entering his or her sophomore year in high school
3. A 2007 high school graduate
4. Will not have turned 21 by September 30, 2007.
Young adults who do not meet these age requirements are encouraged to apply to serve the Gathering as a member of the Young Adult Volunteer Corps. Young people who are not old enough to attend are reminded that they will be eligible for the 2010 Gathering.

• RYMS cost has not been set. Guess around $350 for registration, etc., plus the cost of meals during the week, etc. This would be in addition to extensive fundraising. As always, a sibling discount and scholarships will be available.
• Registration deadline? October 1, 2006
• Upcoming informational meeting in late August or September.
• If you plan on going, please start saving money now. Setting aside even $15 a month will help there to less of a shock come July 2007.

• Why is it Orlando again? The 2004 National Youth Gathering was in Orlando, and was an incredible experience. The 2007 gathering was to be held in New Orleans, but the Gathering Committee felt that New Orleans might not be prepared to handle such a large gathering by 2007. Returning to Orlando means that we know the lay of the land, know how to plan, and can focus on getting as much as we get out this incredible experience.
