Vacation Bible School & Servant Day
August 7-12, 2005


Youth will help with Vacation Bible School and also Service Projects for a week of fun ways to serve the Lord!

Vacation Bible School
Youth will be a part of one of 4 teams to help with VBS:

Welcome Team (entering 6th & 7th grade)
Team will study the Bible stories and be in charge of the opening welcome gathering for each day.

Entering 8th Grade & up:

Recreation Team
plan and leads games for younger children

Snack Team
delivers and buses snacks for classes

Special Project Team
assists the VBS Directors and Pastor with tasks during VBS

Youth may also choose to teach or assist in a classroom.
Students may help with VBS without participating in the Servant Day.


Servant Day
Thursday afternoon all youth (entering 6th-12th grades) will experience Service Projects in our community or around church. Projects will include a variety of tasks.

Schedule for the Week
Sunday, August 7 – 5:00-8:00 PM
Dinner, Servant Devotion, VBS Team prep

Monday – Wednesday – 8:30 AM – 11:45 PM

Thursday – 8:30 AM – 10 PM
VBS, Lunch, Devotion, Service Project, Worship, Movie night

Friday – 8:30 AM – 11:45 PM
VBS, Clean up, Lunch

Registration
Complete the VBS Servant Week/Vacation Bible School registration form and return it to the church office. Please call 684-3989 to have one mailed to you.

There is no cost to participate in Vacation Bible School or the Servant Day.

Registration forms are due by July 31, 2005.

After you register, you will get a parental consent form. More information and details will be provided closer to the week.
